21 Het curriculum is een project van de Zwitsers-Duitse ministers van Onderwijs Conferentie (D-EDK). Sinds het najaar van 2010 voor alle Duitstalige kantons en meer is het opstellen van een gemeenschappelijk leerplan voor de basisschool. Wordt gebruikt om de 21 kantons van het artikel 62 van de federale grondwet in te stellen, om de doelstelling van de school. In het najaar van 2014, zijn het curriculum van alle 21 Zwitserse Duitse ministers van onderwijs en bestuur gemachtigd voor het binnenbrengen in de kantons. Vervolgens heeft elk kanton heeft zijn eigen in overeenstemming met de wettelijke grondslagen voor de invoering in Canton.

In 2000, the original goal was to refine the semantics of the Dublin Core element and use DC for audio archives. In 2008, the scope was significantly enlarged to a common core set of information through which archives would be searched, e.g. through web portals.  Today, the domain of use of the EBUCore specification is much broader and is no longer limited to audio or archives.   Different European projects (EUScreen), which counts 12 EBU members and national archives, has developed a portal to access public audio visual archives. It also actively contrbutes to the European Digital Library (Europeana). EUScreen uses EBUCore as its reference metadata format and .plans to contribute 'linked metadata' to Europeana in the form of EBUCore RDF/OWL files.EBU is also working with the University of Athens (NTUA) on a web-based tool through which users will be able  to map their existing metadata to EBUCore. The service is planned for the end of 2011."

Culture Grid Vocabulary Bank is a joint venture between Collections Trust and Knowledge Integration. The bank enables users to browse, search and download a wide range of controlled vocabularies, thesauri and terminologies. There is an alerting function which provides details of changes to vocabularies in RSS and ATOM formats and a machine to machine interface accessible via a REST API. Cultural Sector organisations that wish to have their vocabularies hosted on the Culture Grid Vocabulary Bank should contact Collections Trust in the first instance. In addition to the hosting of vocabularies, we can also provide a fully featured editor which can be used to create and edit vocabularies. This can be used as a stand alone tool or be tightly integrated with Culture Grid Vocabulary Bank. The Vocabulary Bank is designed to complement the core Culture Grid service, giving organisations the opportunity of using the APIs to provide a crosswalk between vocabularies used within the grid metadata and other controlled vocabularies in a seamless manner.
